Executive
Director
The Hands of Hope Clinic, Inc. (HOHC)
is
a free medical and dental clinic for residents of Henry
County, Georgia. HOHC seeks an experienced Executive Director to
provide visionary leadership and management of HOHC and its
programs. The role of the Executive Director will be to
leverage current relationships, build on proven successes,
and launch new partnerships that generate both new donations
and grants to sustain the organization's missions. The ED is
responsible for the day-to-day clinic operations. The ideal
candidate for this position is a dynamic individual who is
interested in directing the quality healthcare services that
HOHC provides. The Executive Director reports to the Board
of Directors, and is responsible for the organization's
consistent achievement of its mission and financial
objectives.
Qualifications include but are not limited to, a bachelor’s
degree in business administration, marketing or related
field with a minimum four years management experience in the
non-profit sector. Successful track record in soliciting for
grants and grant writing is required. Applicant must exhibit
experience in Business Development, Fundraising,
Organizational Leadership and Strategic Planning, Financial
Management, and Marketing and Public Relations. Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, desktop publishing,
PowerPoint, Access and Quick Books are also required.

Clinic
Assistant
Seeking experienced, certified
or non-certified medical assistant for a full-time position.
Summary of duties: Responsible for providing support
in the operation of all aspects of the day-to-day operation
of the medical and dental services. Reports to the Clinic
Manager. Works closely with the Executive Assistant,
providing back-up as needed, and works closely with the many
volunteers who make up the heart and soul of Hands of Hope
Clinic.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in the maintenance of the volunteer records
according to approved policies and procedures, including
license verification of licensed volunteers, active and
inactive status, DCH enrollment, and database input and
upkeep.
- Assists with volunteer scheduling.
- Helps with inventory of medications samples.
- Coordinates referral paper work for Labs, Radiology,
specialty physicians.
- Inventories medical supplies and reorders supplies as
budgeted.
- Assists in maintaining patient records according to
policies and procedures.
- Assists with medical equipment repair and upkeep.
- Aides in smooth functioning of medical and dental clinic
operations.
- Cross-trains with Executive Assistant to provide back-up
for critical functions, including patient scheduling.
- Promotes an atmosphere of acceptance, respect and dignity
for both volunteers and patients
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Education, skills and experience: Certified medical
assistant or licensed LPN. Experience working in a medical
office environment, as a care provider and/or front office
assistant is preferred. Experience as a volunteer and/or
working with volunteers preferred. Good interpersonal
communication skills and an ability to interact with
compassion and discretion in sensitive situations. Good
computer skills, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Programs.
Working conditions: Flexible work hours, including
daytime, evenings and occasional weekends. Weekly hours
worked may vary. The nature of activities will require the
individual to be on their feet and walking for hours at a
time. Light lifting might be required. This is a full-time,
hourly position.

Associate Medical Director
Hands of Hope Clinic, Inc. is seeking a volunteer Associate
Medical Director. This individual must maintain a valid
Georgia license to practice medicine. Responsibilities
include recruiting medical practitioners to serve the clinic
and arranging specialty referrals. The Associate Medical
Director will work under the Medical Director and may
provide medical treatment for clinic patients as appropriate
to time available.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Works with and receives direction from the Hands of Hope
Medical Director.
2. Maintains a valid State of Georgia License to Practice
Medicine.
3. Recruits an adequate number of physicians (MDs/DOs) and
physician extenders (NPs/PAs) to see the patients for each
clinic time
4. Calls consulting physician’s offices and respective
clinics/hospital to arrange treatment for Hands of Hope
patients.
5. Occasionally see patients as appropriate to time
available.
6. Works with the Executive Director and Clinic Director to
ensure smooth operations of the clinic.
Rights:
1. Acts as the Medical Director in the Medical Director’s
Absence during Clinic Operations
2. Acts as the Medical Director in the Medical Director’s
Absence during Hands of Hope Board Meetings
3. Receives compensation in the form of travel to and
payment for CME associated with the Hands of Hope* (* Up to two
conferences per year as approved by the Medical Director.)
